Born in Shiga, she is an urushi lacquer artist whose painterly approach brings color and depth to contemporary urushi and kintsugi. B.F.A. in Urushi Lacquering, Kyoto City University of Arts, 2017. Recipient of multiple honors from the Shiga Prefectural Art Association.
