＊What's Unique Kintsugi?

In this collection, the broken vessels have been upcycled using the traditional Kintsugi technique and the creative Maki-e" technique.

*Maki-e: lacquer ware decoration technique in which design is drawn in lacquer, over which gold, silver or other metal powder is sprinkled while the lacquer is wet.

*Following the ancient Japanese Kintsugi technique, we do not use synthetic resins, epoxies, chemical adhesives or chemical paints. Therefore, even if you reuse it as tableware after applying Kintsugi, there is no safety issue.
