Collection: Neo Kintsugi Collection

*What's Neo Kintsugi?

In this collection, the original, undamaged vessels that would have been discarded due to inventory reductions or restaurant closures have been upcycled using traditional Kintsugi and Maki-e* techniques.

*Maki-e:
lacquer ware decoration technique in which design is drawn in lacquer, over which gold, silver or other metal powder is sprinkled while the lacquer is wet.

*Following the ancient Japanese Kintsugi technique, we do not use synthetic resins, epoxies, chemical adhesives or chemical paints. Therefore, even if you reuse it as tableware after applying Kintsugi, there is no safety issue.
