Neo Kintsugi Serving Plate Kintsugi Pattern
As this Kintsugi piece is one-of-a kind, we can offer only until it has sold.
<About Kintsugi Parts>
This serving plate is a new piece that expands the sustainable concept of Kintsugi.
As a basis piece with traditional Kintsugi patterns on white plates, we also have pieces with patterns applying plants and autumn leaves using the technique of maki-e.
<About the Original Vessel>
It is a flat porcelain plate with moderate weight and is easy to handle.
This white plate was originally an unbroken vessel, but was about to be discarded for inventory disposal, and was upcycled using the techniques of Kintsugi and makie. Thus, it creates a one-of-a-kind plate.
<Thoughts Behind the Piece>
By applying the Kintsugi pattern on the unbroken vessels using traditional techniques, we hope that you can enjoy a completely new and sustainable Kintsugi work at a reasonable price.
Placing a meal on these beautiful Kintsugi plates will make the food stand out even more and is sure to be the talk of the party!

How to care for Kintsugi Piece
- After use, wash the pieces using a soft sponge and food-safe detergent.
- Rinse them in lukewarm or cool water and completely dry them using a soft dish cloth.
- Do not soak them in hot or cold water for long periods of time. This may cause the urushi or maki-e lacquer to peel or fracture.
- The urushi (Japanese lacquer) may break or the maki-e lacquer decoration may peel off if the piece is dropped or if it collides with other hard objects. Please handle these pieces carefully.
- Do not place these pieces in the microwave or dishwasher.
